This is hole #15 called Lone Fir at Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones II and is a links style golf course. It hosted the 2010 U.S. Amateur and the 2015 U.S. Open Golf Championships.

I am a Seattle based photographer and have been shooting local area sports and events for over 10 years. There are similarities shooting sports and wildlife and got hooked on wildlife after my first trip to South Africa years ago.
